These are two products you can’t go wrong with. While they are both amazing, they provide completely different results. Olaplex vs Briogeo Review
Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo & No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner
Targets: repairs and protects hair from everyday stresses including damaged hair, split ends, and frizz by re-linking broken bonds. Color-safe and proven to reduce breakage and strengthen all types of hair.
Consistency: Thick
Amount needed: A little goes a long way
Volume: Much more volume than Briogeo.
Silkiness and softness of hair: Not noticeably different however dryness and hair health has greatly improved.
Health and strength of hair: A+
Shine: A+
Ingredient facts: Vegan, free of DEA, Aldehydes and Formaldehyde, Gluten free, Paraben free, Cruelty free.
Additional notes: My curls hold longer when I use Olaplex! I’ve used Olaplex longer than any other shampoo and conditioner. I have noticeable volume at the roots, which I love!

Briogeo Be Gentle, Be Kind Shampoo & Conditioner
Targets: Hydrate and restores shine to dull, lifeless, and dry strands.
Consistency: Much less thick
Amount needed: I need much more product compared to Olaplex
Volume: Less Voluminous hair
Silkiness and softness of hair: Noticeably softer to the point where my hair slips out of my curling iron.
Health and strength of hair: A+
Shine: A++
Ingredient facts: Banana, Avocado oil, coconut, kiwi fruit extract. Gluten free, Sulfate free, Paraben free, No artificial dyes,
Additional notes: My hair has never been softer after using this for a month and a half! My only wish is that I didn’t need to use as much product, and I wish it gave me the volume at my roots that Olapex gives me. The scent is delicious!

Verdict: Until I find another brand to test out, I will be switching back and forth between Olaplex and Briogeo products. My hair feels amazing with both!
Both brands also offer a hair mask. I highly recommend purchasing the hair mask and using once per week to truly transform your hair. I suggest matching up with whatever shampoo and conditioner brand you choose in order to ensure the products are all working together seamlessly!
