Happy New Years Eve! I hope your plans are more exciting than ours because at the moment we’ve got nothing! I’m closing out 2018 with a good old outfit post.
There’s nothing like a good casual winter outfit!
This season my go-to outfit has been a turtleneck, high waisted jeans, and a pair of booties. Sometimes I’ll top it with a belt, but other times I just keep it nice and simple. 
I’m really loving these high waisted jeans. They’ve actually been sitting in my closet for quite some time and for some reason I have never really worn them much. I wore them for this casual winter outfit and I’ve been wearing them so much ever since! Great comfortable fit, and the waist hits at the perfect spot. The Perfect Casual Winter Outfit
The top is a bit of a splurge, but there are some great more affordable options linked below! For me, I have found that these tops are such a staple in my wardrobe that I have justified splurging a little on this one. One thing I’ve found is that I never regret splurging on a good classic basic for my closet. It looks SO good tucked into high waisted skirts, so it doubles as a great shirt for church for me as well.
The accessories really pull this entire casual winter outfit together. I grabbed my sunglasses recently at Optica, and my handbag was gifted to me by Zac Posen. Its been my go-to lately. Easy to wipe down, magnetic closure, roomy enough to use it as a diaper bag, and I love to use the longer strap.
