I am SO excited to finally show you Paige’s nursery! We absolutely love how it turned out. I had such a hard time deciding what to do with her room. It started out as Michael’s room, so it just felt so “boyish” in there.
Paige’s Room Reveal: Dreamy Baby Girl Nursery Decor
We kept the crib and armoire from Michael’s room, along with the pallet wall and laminate flooring. We actually purchased the crib from my sister in law since they were done having kids, and Brett chalk painted everything! (It was originally a dark wood stain.) I linked to the brand of chalk paint that he used, along with some similar crib options below. I have absolutely loved having laminate flooring in this room… and yes, Brett did the flooring and pallet wall, too! We always joke that all of my most popular blog posts are the one’s that Brett is involved in.
I kept searching online for baby girl nursery decor, but didn’t really love anything. I honestly felt zero motivation to complete her room until I came across this stunning floral mobile from Me My Memories on Etsy. It ended up becoming the inspiration for the entire room.
Sign | Mobile | Sheets | Macrame (multiple colors available)
Once I had the mobile, the entire room just kind of fell into place. I always knew I wanted a sign from Eve and James Co, so I was really excited to finally have a color scheme picked out for the room. We wanted to keep the sign very simple since it was going against a pallet wall. The sign is another one of my favorite baby girl nursery decor pieces in the room. The white letters placed against the white stain are so perfect!
I originally ordered these baskets, but I found this woven basket for a third of the price. I filled it with swaddles and burp cloths so that we have easy access to them. I think the texture adds a nice touch to the room!
Macrame: c/o Lorena Canal
Light | Pink Blanket | Rug
Brett and I walked into Lowes to try to find a nursery light, and I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted. While we were there, I jumped on Pinterest and never realized how many fun lighting options are out there. (I really have no interest in home decor until I am pregnant. Then I obsess over every little detail!) I discovered these stunning beaded lights and made it my mission to find the perfect size for the nursery! Pretty light fixtures can make such a big difference in a room! Again, another one of my favorite baby girl nursery decor items in the room.
The lace rug is from Lorena Canals, and it is so pretty and soft. (By far the softest rug in our home!) I love that I can throw it in the washing machine when it needs to be washed.
I have had a lot of questions about the shelving. Brett built them! The cute bunny was a find from HomeGoods. We walked by a wall full of them when I was pregnant and Michael insisted that we buy one for baby sister. I let him pick this one out!
Changing Basket | Frames | Eternity Roses | Baskets | Succulents
A few of my favorites here are the changing basket, the eternity roses that I used in my gender reveal, the bouquet from our wedding day, and a peak at the newborn photos that I will be sharing with you guys soon. I am so glad my friends convinced me to splurge on the changing basket! I feel like it completes this area of the room and looks so much better than typical changing pads.
Vase (A ton of cute pink vase options here!) | Wood beads (Similar)
We love Noodle & Boo products! I really like to have baskets in the room to keep things from looking cluttered. We found ours here.
I found these knobs at Target and wanted to figure out a way to incorporate them into the nursery. I showed Brett and he had the great idea of staining a piece of wood to match the shelves and pallet wall. He stained the wood and attached the knobs, making the perfect little bow display.
Special thanks to the following: Me My Memories (mobile)| Eve & James Co (name sign)| Velvetique (eternity roses) | Noodle & Boo (baby products)| Lorena Canal (macrame and washable rug)
I hope you have enjoyed our baby girl nursery decor as well as another peek into our home!
