It’s no secret that I love to work out. Making healthy choices sort of feels like it’s in my blood since being a competitive gymnast was such a big part of my life. Hours and hours in the gym meant that I had to fuel my body in order to those grueling (sometimes 8 hour) practices. Fast forward to now, a lot of things have changed: obviously gymnastics is no more, and I’ve got two little ones who are kicking my booty these days instead of my coaches.
I’m usually all about going to group workout classes, but lately I’ve really been enjoying working out at home. Brett has helped me create a workout schedule which has been really helpful in staying motivated! Aside from the schedule, a good workout outfit always motivates me as well! I just love a good matching set! This particular outfit is from Stage.com… I’m sure you’re familiar with some of their stores: Stage Stores includes Bealls, Goody’s Palais Royal, Peebles, Stage. (I grew up going to Palais Royal!)
Stage’s #BringHeartHome Campaign
Throughout the month of April, Stage will be hosting activations and give back initiatives to raise money for American Heart Association (AHA), which is a cause that really hits home for us as Brett’s dad and grandpa have both passed away in their early 60s from heart complications. Get involved at your local Stage Store or online:
In-store: Stage will be hosting activations and events where you can help them give back to AHA.
Online: During the month of April, for every #BringHeartHome photo shared as a post on either Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag, Stage will donate $1.00 to support American Heart Association (up to $25,000).
Homes are where preventing heart disease starts, and we love leading by example for our little ones! Working out at home has become a family affair around here. The small healthy choices we make daily in our homes are what can make big differences in the long run.
I find so much joy in supporting brands that give back and are trying to make the world a better place. You can find out more information about the Bring Heart Home campaign at Stage.com/BringHeartHome.
