Whenever I talk about my love for bodysuits, the most frequently asked question is WHY? Why wear a bodysuit? Well, the answer is simple! Wear a bodysuit in any occasion that you would otherwise be adjusting a tucked in shirt. Bodysuits are amazing because once they’re on, there’s no adjusting or worrying. I love wearing bodysuits with jeans, midi skirts, and mini skirts.

There are so many different bodysuit options including t shirts, blouses sweaters, etc. For example, my striped bodysuit is definitely a very blousy top. I actually recommend starting off with a very basic bodysuit if you’re new to the bodysuit world. My very first bodysuit was a plain black striped top, and that’s where my love began! You can never go wrong with jeans and a black top, so it’s a great place to start. I’m linking a few of my favorite bodysuits at the moment at the end of this post!

High rise is definitely recommended. A bodysuit paired with high rise jeans is a very flattering look. A midi, maxi, or mini is also a very great option with bodysuits. It creates a very slimming effect when your jeans hit at a high point and your top is tucked in.

Lastly, don’t be afraid to top it off with a cardigan, blazer, or jacket. If you’re wearing a patterned or striped bodysuit, I recommend using a very simple piece like this to wear over it. If your bodysuit is a solid color, it can be fun to make it a little more edgy with a patterned cardigan or snake print jacket!
