Choosing toys for toddlers can be a lot harder than it sounds! How often do we actually find a fun toy that ignites their imagination, that they can play with on their own for long periods of time, and that doesn’t get old? It almost sounds too good to be true. Today I’m excited to partner with Thomas & Friends™ to share Michael’s most played with toy!
Thomas & Friends™ Wood track & train sets are great for ages 2-5. Michael started playing with them when he was two and miraculously still gets excited to play with them. The tracks are easy to use, and I totally have a love for wooden toys. He has quite the collection, but always gets excited to add new pieces to it. These are the only toys he has in his room because it’s such a fun and engaging quiet time activity!
The engines look exactly like the characters in the books and show. (He gets especially excited to see James, the red one!) Thomas & Friends™ Wood track and train sets are a great way to transition into less screen time for kids. Whenever friends or family need help choosing toys for toddlers, I always recommend running to Target to grab this wooden train set!
Sometimes it’s a simple circle, other times he creates a crazy track and trouble shoots until he finds a way to eventually connect the tracks together. Lately he has been really into using his imagination, and it is so fun to see. He calls his room his train station and uses my boxes and other things around the house to incorporate into his train world of Sodor!
I feel like it’s rare these days to find quality toys that are made to last. We have Thomas & Friends™ Wood train pieces handed down from Michael’s cousins as well and they are still in great condition.
Whether you’re shopping for a present or choosing toys for toddlers of your own, take it from Michael: Thomas & Friends™ Wood track and train sets are the way to go!
