Shopping for a coat can be so overwhelming whether you’re shopping in stores or online. Through the last few years of blogging, I started noticing a trend year after year that my favorite coat of the season always happened to be by Bernardo.
I am loving this plaid wool coat, and you guessed it, it’s a Bernardo coat!
If you’ve been following me for a while you know I typically stick to neutrals. The hint of red in this plaid wool coat is the PERFECT way to introduce a unique piece to my wardrobe without being too loud or bright. It matches all of my neutrals perfectly and I am head over heels for it.

Winter Classic: the Plaid Wool Coat
This plaid wool coat, linked here, has a slightly oversized fit and hits at the knee. It’s nice and cozy, but I still feel like I can move around and layer with it, leaving me with so much outfit potential. I chose to dress up a pair of jeans for this look, but another fun option would be to dress the coat more casually with sneakers and a hoodie underneath. I opted for a cream purse, but my Red or black cross body bags look so good with it as well.

As you can see this plaid wool coat hits right at my knee and lays perfectly.
