Independence Day will be here before we know it, and today I’m sharing some major red, white, and blue outfit inspiration. Whether you’re headed to the lake, the beach, or a BBQ, these patriotic picks are perfect for your Independence Day ensemble.

When shopping for the perfect 4th of July outfit, I always try to find pieces that I can wear for other occasions as well. There’s nothing like spending money on an outfit for a certain occasion and realizing it’s not very practical after the fact.
Sometimes it’s as simple as wearing denim shorts, a white tee (this one is my favorite loose fitting tee), and adding fun accessories like a bandana, red sunnies, or a festive bag. Other times I opt for wearing navy with a red lip. I linked to a similar dress to the one I am wearing in the photo above, and it is only $20! Pair it with your favorite red lipstick and you are red, white, and blue ready.
