Hey guys! If you follow me over on snapchat you’ve seen me sharing a little about the teeth whitening product I’ve been trying out. I’ve wanted to bleach my teeth for SO long. Yes, I’ve tried whitening strips and whitening tooth paste, but I wanted to try something a little more intense. (I’m also doing a giveaway at the end of this post!)

I went to the dentist and I had an embarrassing amount of cavities (why am I telling you guys this.. LOL.) I told myself that once I had all my fillings done, I wanted to reward myself with teeth whitening. Once I found out the price the in office whitening as well as their at home system, I decided it probably wasn’t a good idea at the moment. I mean.. as much as I have always wanted whiter teeth, $300-$500 and multiple appointments for trays and other visits just wasn’t sounding too appealing or realistic.

Teeth Whitening At Home

Then I came across Smile Brilliant and it was like all of my teeth whitening dreams came true! They literally send you everything you need to make your customized trays, along with a prepaid shipping label to make teeth whitening at home a breeze. I made the molds for my trays at home, sent them back the next day, and then received my custom trays in the mail.

As a mom, this is perfect for me. I never had to leave my house for appointments, and I can multitask while I whiten. Working on the computer, taking care of the baby, and cleaning (sometimes 😉) are just a few of the things I do while I whiten. The photo above shows the 2 pastes you combine to create your molds for the trays.

This is what it looks like after the molds are created. I let them dry, put them in the shipping envelope, and dropped them in the mailbox.

My trays arrived and I was SO excited to get started. I was a little nervous because my teeth are rather sensitive, but it only felt uncomfortable during my first time using the whitening gel. It comes with a desensitizing gel that you can put on after using the whitening gel to help with sensitivity.
