I have to start off by saying I’m sort of a jean snob. After working at Nordstrom for a couple years selling primarily denim, I’ve become really picky with jeans. Every pair of denim really is different. Aside from the wash (color) and the length, there is so much more that goes into finding the right pair of denim. Today I’m sharing a little bit about my new favorite ripped jeans.
Ripped Jeans Under $100
I love that TopShop offers so many different options. Every style comes in different lengths to accommodate all heights. I am 5’4″ and I order the 30″. I also fit in the 32″, but I always like to show off my shoes. As you can see, this is a great length for Spring and Summer.
One of my BIGGEST pet peeves about denim is sagging. There’s nothing that bothers me more than my jeans starting to sag after a couple hours. I want them to fit the exact same in the morning when I first put them on, and after wearing them all day. I have to say, TopShop denim passes the test. I’ve been searching for a good pair of ripped jeans that doesn’t sag out on me by the end of the day, and I finally found some.
Plus, TopShop Denim doesn’t break the bank. Coming in at only $80, this price is SO good for a quality pair of jeans. Sure, you can find affordable jeans anywhere, but they are not going to be this good of a fit. As you guys know, a lot of the denim I link to is around $200.
I went with high waisted ripped jeans and I think it looks so good with this cute $20 tee tucked in at the front. This is such a simple everyday outfit idea.
Don’t you guys think I look taller!? Between the wedges and the high waisted ripped jeans, I’d say this is the perfect recipe to elongate those legs. I’m definitely going to be repeating this combination in the near future.
