We had a chance to take my father in laws 1938 Chevy out for these photos and the morning ended up turning into a little date. After the photos, we drove the hot rod to breakfast at Lulus Bed and Breakfast, a cute hidden breakfast spot by us. We ate outside and enjoyed the perfect weather. It was such a fun and special morning.

There is so much love in these pictures. Lets start out with why I love Valentines Day even though I think it is overrated. My junior year of college I didn’t really have any plans for Valentines Day, which was totally fine with me. I received a call from Brett out of the blue asking if I would be his Valentine. Who wouldn’t want to be his Valentine!? We had dated in the past and hadn’t seen each other in a while. I was so so excited. He lived in Las Vegas and I lived in little old Cedar City, Utah at the time so we met in St. George, Utah at Texas Road House. I arrived before him and as I sat in the parking lot I joked to myself that he was probably on another date with someone and wasn’t finished yet. He showed up 15 minutes later with the prettiest roses. After dinner he wanted to see a movie but I was too tired. He drove all the way from Las Vegas to St. George and I told him I was too TIRED to go see a movie with him! Fast forward to May 2012 I married the man of my dreams. I fall asleep in just about every movie we watch together and he is still spoiling me to this day.

Now onto the outfits. I love the textured midi skirt I am wearing in this picture. It is one of this pieces that I will get so much use out of since it matches so many different tops. This Kate Spade ruffle sleeve top is also available in solid colors. I also love this ruffle top paired with some ankle jeans and colorful pumps for spring. Kate Spade can do no wrong! The Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag is so perfect for Valentines Day and Spring. Light pinks and blushes are all over this spring, and I think this little cross body bag is going to be the best accessory for wedding season.
