A few weeks ago we took out first family photos. I have always wanted to take photos out at a dry lake bed. Some people might not think its very cool. I mean, it’s just a bunch of dirt. But I just love the simplicity of it. We wanted to shoot the family pictures just as the sun was setting, and happened to have some extra time once we arrived.
I just so happened to have this outfit in my car so I threw it on to snap a few pictures before the lighting was just right for our other photos. Layered looks always look amazing, but I can’t handle the bulkiness of layering. That’s why I love this shirtdress because it’s all in one. Even the neck tie is a part of the ensemble. Unfortunately this exact dress sold out YESTERDAY. But I’ve linked to some other amazing layered and neck tie shirtdresses and shirts.
When I posted a sneak peek at these photos I received a few questions about my lip color. I use this Satin Lip Pencil almost daily! I use the color Rikugien.
