At 5’4″ I wasn’t quite sure how I would feel about the biker shorts trend. After quite a few requests to show biker short outfit ideas, I decided to give them a try. Verdict is in, and I am a fan… even on a shorty like myself.
I’ve seen many people dress them up with a blazer, but since casual is more realistic for me I stuck with something I could throw on any day of the week to run errands or play with the kids.

I decided to knock out two trends in one and give dad sneakers a try as well. When I was researching biker short outfit ideas, so many people were wearing them with dad sneakers! This is a trend that has taken me a long time to come around to. I actually LOVE when this happens. I thought dad sneakers were so ugly and over time I’ve actually become a fan of them. When I feel this way about a trend I definitely like to find a price conscious choice since I know this trend will come and go. These are only $50! I chose to wear them with my biker shorts outfit because they are slightly elevated, which elongates my legs juuuust a little bit.

Hooded denim jackets are a piece that will always be in style! This exact style is almost sold out, but I found the gray hooded version (same brand) on sale! I’m shocked at the price.
