We’ve all got our concerns about our skin. Not to pick apart my skin, but main concerns include fine lines around my eyes, uneven skin tone/sun damage, slowing down the aging process, and hydration in this dry climate. Daily Skin Care Routine Step 1: Skin Perfecting BHA Liquid

This is what I put on after cleansing (and sometimes toning) my face. It is a leave-on exfoliant that unclogs pores, smooths wrinkles, and brightens and evens out my skin tone.  The BHA sheds built-up layers of skin. It is such a game changer. I love having noticeably healthier looking skin immediately after applying, and my skin feels so clean and fresh. I actually texted my friend about this product to tell her that she needs to try it, and it turns out it is already a part of her daily and nightly routine, too! You’re supposed to apply with a cotton ball, but sometimes I am lazy and just apply it with my hands. A lot of people refer to this as their secret weapon, and I have to say I agree. On top of what I already mentioned, I have noticed a huge difference in the amount of clogged pores around my nose. (That has always been a problem area for me!)

Daily Skin Care Routine Step 2: Resist Eye Gel

What’s the first thing I notice in a close up photo of myself? The crows feet. I started noticing them getting worse about a year and a half ago. Although they happen to the best of us,  I’m all about minimizing and slowing those babies down. I don’t need to look any more tired than I actually am …#momlife. This Resist Eye Gel is amazing! I really love how it feels as soon as I apply it. A little bit goes along way (all you need is a pea size), and the cooling applicator helps with puffiness.  Not only is it addressing multiple signs of aging, but it is also hydrating at the same time which we all know helps our makeup go on smoother. Did I mention it has hyaluronic acid? I feel like that is the ingredient everyone is talking about lately! Once the eye gel is on, I feel like my under eyes  are a little brighter and I look more refreshed.

I have tried so many eye creams that I could only put on at night because it would affect my makeup. They would either flake up or my makeup would cake up where the products were, but I don’t have any issues with this one. It is so nice to find products to add to my skincare routine that can work their magic all day long while I’m out and about or getting my beauty rest.

Daily Skin Care Routine Step 3: Firming Moisturizer

It’s no secret that everyone should be using a moisturizer twice a day. Raise your hand if you’ve ever tried a moisturizer that feels like a cheap watered down lotion that does absolutely nothing. It almost makes my skin feel more “thirsty” and it is so annoying! I know a good moisturizer as soon as I apply it on my skin, and this is a winner. It wasn’t until I moved to Utah for college that I really started realizing I needed to start moisturizing. (It is extremely dry in Utah and here in Las Vegas.) My skin feels so soft and hydrated with the firming moisturizer. This particular moisturizer contains ceramides, Retinol, and Vitamin C. It designed to restore firmer looking, supple feeling skin, and soften the appearance of wrinkles.

I am not the kind of person who loves to spend a ton of time during my morning or night time daily skin care routine, so I really love that using these products only adds about 1 to 2 minutes. Sometimes when I see all of the products people use I wonder how in the world they have time or patience for that.
