Do you ever try something on just for the heck of it? I walked by this funky pair of culotte jeans and immediately thought to myself  “I would look so short in those.”  Reality is that I am 5’4″ so it’s not very hard to “look” short. My fitting room was already full of clothes and decided why not add one more thing to my crowded room. 

I was rushing through trying on all of the clothes as fast as I could (because no one likes to hear a screaming baby while they are trying to have a nice peaceful day of shopping, and I happened to be the one accompanied by a screaming baby.) I grabbed the culotte jeans and prepared for a laugh, but instead I fell in love with them.  Lucky for you, they were just marked down and are well under $100 now! 

Now the point of this story is that sometimes getting out of your comfort zone can be just what you needed, and I’m not just talking about clothes. Sometimes it’s fun to prove your assumptions wrong.
