Where to stay in Napa in the Winter

Hotel Yountville

This place is a dream! Hotel Yountville went above and beyond all of my expectations. The peaceful environment was just what I needed after a day of travel. To be honest I could have spent the entire trip in my hotel room ordering room service and I would have been completely happy. The freestanding tub, the spacious cozy room, and the fireplace had me in full relaxation mode and I will be back. I can’t recommend Hotel Yountville enough. We also took a walk through their sister property Bardessono which was equally as beautiful with more of a modern feel. I would stay here any time of year, but it’s important to note that they have a heated pool, soilidifying that it is one of the best places to visit in Napa in the winter!

Best Places to Visit in Napa in the Winter: Food

Bottega:

The ravioli is amazing. It is one large ravioli, and I recommend sharing this plus an appetizer with another person. It is so good but keep in mind that it is extremely rich.

NapaStak:

The cutest coffee and gift shop. If you’re looking to buy something to take home this is your place. They have everything from jelly to olive oils, truffle salts and truffle oil. *Be sure to stop into Lululemon which is right next to it!

Coqueta:

A small restaurant with a BIG tapas menu. This is the perfect place to grab appetizers and drinks! I went here twice during my trip and quite honestly if I could visit again right now I would. One of my favorite dishes was the grilled octopus. We tried so many amazing dishes here. Locals recommend the salt air margarita here!

Redd Wood:

If you’re looking for the perfect casual winter meal, definitely hit up Redd Wood. They have great pizza, pasta, and salads! Famous around town for their espresso martini.

Southside:

A cute and casual breakfast spot. (Order then sit down.) Known for their avocado toast!

Best Places to Visit in Napa in the Winter: Wineries & Tastings

Round Pond Estate:

Round Pond Estate was absolutely beautiful. They host some amazing experiences including garden to table brunch. This is a great location for a big group!

Paraduxx:

Paraduxx is like a stylish VIP lounge in the heart of Napa Valley. Visitors can taste their award-winning Napa Valley wines, relax in their beautiful courtyard and enjoy the vineyard view.

Long Meadow Ranch Winery & Farmstead:

Great for weddings and events! We had an outdoor brunch hosted by Vici on our last morning there!

JCB Tasting Salon:

We stumbled upon this tasting room and it was incredible! Even as someone who was not drinking I thoroughly enjoyed this place! Click on over to their page to get an idea for the vibe. I’m talking chandeliers, leopard print, velvets, and mirrors on the ceiling. I wish I could go back and do a photoshoot there because it was so fun and unique. I love that it is attached to a place that will serve charcuterie which you can enjoy while tasting!

I hope you enjoyed this list of the best places to visit in Napa in the winter! You may also enjoy my post of things to do in Healdsburg!
