Beach Tote

It’s been years since I purchased a new beach tote, but when I saw this Beach Bag I just couldn’t pass it up! The basket at the bottom is actually a cooler. When we were in Mexico last week I kept all of my sunscreen in that portion since I didn’t need to pack any food or drinks. It’s the perfect size for some fruit, sandwiches and some drinks. You can carry it as a tote, or wear it as a backpack.

Hat Clip

The accessory I never knew I needed! This hat clip is so convenient whether you’re traveling and don’t want your hat to get smushed in a suitcase, or you just want to carry your hat around hands free. It makes a fun little gift, too. The clasp is magnetic and allows you to clip your hat and hook it onto your bag. It was perfect on our vacation during walks on the beach when my hat kept flying off in the wind.

Sunscreen

I’ll admit, I had no idea what I was getting into when I picked up GLOW SCREEN the day before my trip. Who doesn’t want to glow at the beach!? I had no idea it would be full of gold shimmer, but it ended up being so fun. I really did feel like I was glowing, and it even looked great in photos. I will definitely be buying this again, but you’ve been warned. It is straight gold shimmer!

As far as face sunscreen, I like this ELTA MD sunscreen because I tend to break out from sun screen. This one is great for acne prone skin. Every once in a while throughout the day I would spray the Re-Setting Spray on my skin. I love this for multiple reasons: The less I have to touch my face the better and it is so easy to quickly reapply.

Slide Sandals

Swimsuits

This is an obvious one! Everyone has their own swim preferences. Personally,  I like cheeky bikinis!

Sun Hat or Visor

Denim Shorts

These are my favorite denim shorts! They are a splurge, but they are the only denim shorts I wear!

Sarong

This is one of my personal favorites for the season! I have the ivory, which looks great with every single one of my swimsuits, and also matches my new beach tote.

Sunnies

Two of my favorite affordable sunglass brands are Quay and Le Specs!

Lightweight Versatile Cover-Up

This cover-up is one of my personal favorites. I have it in black and white. I love that it doesn’t take up much space in my suitcase or beach bag, and it is extremely versatile. You can wear it unbuttoned to show off your suit, button it up to make it look more like a dress, or tie it in the front and pair it with denim shorts. I love a cover-up that actually covers up my shoulders!
