Our first stop on the cruise was to Roatán Honduras. As soon as our ship docked at the port, I was in awe. Sometimes cruise ship ports are run down and you have to travel quite a bit in order to get to the pretty part of the city, but this was’t the case in Roatán. Every single part of the island was breathtaking. We started off the day at West End where we walked down a long road of shops, bungalows, restaurants, and beaches. My favorite thing about Roatán is how non-commercialized the whole island is. After exploring West End we took a water taxi to West Bay. West Bay was an absolute blast and I recommend it to anyone who is planning on traveling to Roatán! We sipped on fresh coconuts, ate at cute local restaurants, paddle boarded, worked on our tans, and enjoyed the sun. One thing I love about cruises is that it allows you to “test out the waters” of a potential vacation spot without having to commit to spending a full vacation there. My husband and I would love to travel back and spend more time there. I am wearing my new Ted Baker swimsuit in the photos below. I absolutely love it. No one does floral print better than Ted Baker!
