It has been so fun buying girly things for our baby on the way! Even my diaper bag is packed with all the fun and girly diaper bag essentials. I feel like so many fun new companies have come out since Michael was born, and a few of them are included in this roundup! If you’re looking for baby shower ideas, or you’re a new mom-to-be, these are all great options! I still remember the first time I asked Google what I need in my diaper bag!

Diaper Bag Essentials

Let’s start off with the diaper bag details. My diaper bag is from Freshly Picked. Yes, the amazing baby shoe brand also makes amazing diaper bags now! When choosing a diaper bag, I like to look for a few different key factors. I wanted a simple color that matches everything, a bag that is roomy and easy to keep organized, and that I will want to use after my diaper bag days are over. I really like to use my diaper bags for traveling after we’re out of the diaper bag phase. I have quite a few diaper bags (6, I think!)  and this one is a gem! The last few weeks I was using it as our day bag when we went to the gym, complete with snacks, changes of clothes, and my MacBook. Now it’s loaded with diaper bag essentials and ready to go for baby girl! Below you can find all of the color options available.

Diapers & Wipes:

No explanation needed!  (Pictured: The Honest Company, however I do not use these on a regular basis. They are adorable and make great gifts and photos, but long term I use the less fancy ones!)

Extra change of clothes:

Oh, the extra change of clothes phase. Wait.. Michael is 2 and I still have regrets whenever I forget to pack an extra change of clothes for him!  L’oved baby is one brand that I didn’t know about when Michael was born. They have the cutest footed one pieces. They are all very simple, comfortable, and pretty colors.

Noodle & Boo:

These wipes are amazing! I don’t use these for regular diaper changes. I save these for the messy times (spit up and blowouts) when they need a quick freshen up. The wipes smell absolutely amazing. If you have a baby, you have to try a pack. You will be hooked.

Disposable diaper bags:

The tiny black bag in the photo is a little pouch of disposable diaper bags! To be honest, they don’t need to be fancy.  The Arm & Hammer brand works great as well!

Changing Pad:

My cute changing pad is from Gathre! If you aren’t familiar with Gathre, you have to check them out. They are bonded leather mats that come in all sorts of sizes from micro (the pink changing pad pictured above) to maxi (the striped mat that everything in the photo is laying on!) This is definitely a baby registry must. Funny enough, a diaper changing pad is one of the new things I am most excited for! Some people use the larger sizes for the park, as playmats, or underneath high chairs for easy clean up. They have a ton of adorable colors and patterns.  Check out Gathre here.

Swaddle:

This adorable camel color is from Copper Pearl! Always always always have a swaddle on hand. They come in handy for so many reasons because they can double as a burp cloth, a blanket, a nursing cover, and even a change of clothes if you’re desperate.

Squeaky Toy/Teather:

Sophie the Giraffe or this cute Elephant are our favorites! Michael looooved his Sophie.

Bottle:

Again, no real explanation needed! These Como Tomo bottles were given to me as a baby shower gift! I also really love Smilo brand bottles and products, which I plan on doing a full post on because there is so much to share about them!

Pacifier:

Pictured above is the Pop pacifier. Michael was never much of a pacifier baby, and I have never tried this brand. I love the concept! When they drop it, the part that their mouth goes on pops into the shell, keeping it much more clean than your typical pacifier! I also really love WubbaNub and these neutral color pacifiers for photos.

Multiuse Nursing/Car Seat Cover:

Mine is from Copper Pearl! They are amazons top selling multiuse covers. These come in handy ALL the time! I included a few of their colors and prints below.

Diaper Bag Essentials For Mom:

Let’s not forget about things for mom! I typically carry chapstick/lipgloss, a small wallet, and sunglasses!

I’m linking up with a couple of other moms today (Laura & Alyssa) who are sharing their favorite diaper bag essentials! Head over to their blog posts and say hello!
